What do you do to show yourself love throughout your day?
Do you ever think about the concept of being loving to yourself?
We are so focused on being nice to and caring for the ones we love or people that will raise our status, give us a raise or further our life in some way.
I would like to suggest that you take a 180 degree spin and focus you energy on yourself. I have a theory I would be honoured if you tested out to see if it’s a fit for you. What if you allowed yourself to be selfish and you took care of yourself first. Pampered, loved, took care of, nurtured, honoured, celebrated YOU.

What if you created a life in service of yourself?
What if you took the time to have long showers if that is what you wanted or a long soak in the tub till you turn into a prune?
What if you took the time to work out regularly to create a strong healthy body?
What if you took the time to really think about, research, plan out what foods you are putting in your body so you really received the nutrients your body was asking for?
What if you made time for hobbies that you are interested in like cooking, painting, calligraphy, needle point, making kombucha, wood working and more?
What if you bought yourself beautiful fabrics that are ethically made to honour that beautiful vessel of yours. Clothes that makes you feel sexy, strong, confident, powerful like you could own the world with one outfit cause you look so good.
I have this idea that if you took the time out to really take care of yourself on all levels and you were really nourished, feed, nurtured, honoured, celebrated, you would not only be full of self-love, you would also be over flowing with love for everyone in your life.
You would also be strong, healthy and full of energy to contribute to those you love and care about.
If this isn’t a habit of yours then I think it would be a great new practice for you to add to your life. One thing at a time of course.
First focus on your physical body. Workout regularly for a month. Once that is a habit you can look to the next thing; nutrition.
Take a moth implementing a healthy new health plan that supports your body receiving the nutrition it needs.
Next take the time to focus on what you are doing with your spare time. Are you killing time watching Netflix or scrolling on social media on your phone getting lost in a time warp.
If you can’t account for the time, it’s time to take control and make good use of your spare time. Pick something new to learn and sign up for an online course or go to the school of Youtube. There are so many online courses out there right now that it’s so easy to get access to knowledge if you want to tap into it.
One step at a time create a life in service of yourself. As you are doing so journal it. List 3 or more of course that you did to show yourself love today.
After 30 days take a hot minute and access how you feel about yourself and what your life looks like when you turn your focus to yourself.
I personally have put this into practice and I have all the energy to take care of myself, learn new things, and to take care of my son, the love of my life, 5 birds who want attention, keep my house clean, workout consistently, eat healthy, and be there for my friends and loved ones with energy and love to spare.
