IT’S 2021!
Finally, 2020 is OVER!
THANK GOODNESS!!!
I think the whole world is breathing a deep sigh of relief walking into 2021.
Last year was the biggest hot mess of a year I have even participated in since I joined the planet.
The world is going to be a different place in ways we didn’t anticipate after living through 2020. There are so many things that everyone is so happy to be done with 2020.
I like to look at last year as a super-hot refining fire that I plan to come out of looking like a hot flaming phoenix. If we so choose, we can rise from the flames of 2020.
What is your plan for 2021?
Did you burn to ashes in 2020?
Are you going to stay a pile of ashes?
or…
You can rise out of the ashes and create something new.
There is no such thing as failure.
There are only learning opportunities.
If you look at scientists and inventors, they are the perfect example.
Inventors fail thousands of times until they create the thing they had in their mind. You can see as failure, or you can do what they do and see it as information and do it again a different way. They just pivot until they create what they see in their brilliant minds.
Scientists are just the same. They say to themselves “I wonder what would happen if I did this.”
They do the thing, and they record the results. They have an outcome in mind sometimes. If so, they look at the result they got and analyze it. They pivot and try it a different way.
There are labs that dedicate millions of dollars towards a singular outcome and they are patient until it is achieved.
The difference between them and the average Joe or Athena is the inventor and scientist is taught to perceive failure as information, not failure.
When the average Joe or Athena goes on an epic adventure to do something, they hang everything on being successful on their adventure.
If they don’t achieve the desired result the first time. It’s perceived as failure. Self-Loathing, insecurity and outside opinions take over and they QUIT!
Another BIG HUGE difference between the scientist/inventor mind versus Joe/Athena mind is: BELIEF
The scientist/inventor does their due diligence, makes the plan, does the research and is confident of the outcome before they go get funding to make their idea a reality. No one is going to fund a project that they truly believe is going to be a failure.
Joe/Athena doesn’t do any due diligence or put real time in doing research and putting together a huge plan when they start their adventure. Even if they do all that foundational work, they miss on important piece of the puzzle that is going to trip them up every time if they ignore it.
SO MANY DO!!!
Do you want to know what it is?
The thing that destroys dreams.
Ruins homes, families, businesses, dreams and causes so much despair, death and destruction?
The thing that stops so many amazing people from even starting on epic adventures that should be ventured!
I want to tease you more, just cause it’s fun haha!
Ok here it is, cause I’m nice and I don’t want to leave you with ??? for too long.
SELF-LOVE
You and I are driven and not driven by our Self-Love!
If you have a dream, desire, idea, project, resolution you would like to take on; your Self-Love will 100% dictate your results.
If it’s low enough you won’t even start. You will tell yourself “Wouldn’t it be nice in the New Year if I did this that and the other?”
The follow up thoughts however will look something like:
“Ya, but I will just fail anyways, and everyone will laugh at me. So, there’s no point.”
“Ya, but no one will help me, and I am going to have to do everything myself. It’s too much work so never mind.”
“It’s going to cost too much, and I can’t afford it so never mind.”
“There are so many other people who are already doing it and are really successful so what’s the point.”
“I have tried it before, and it failed so why try again?”
“It’s silly. I’m afraid to put myself out there and people reject me”
If you have enough Self-love to start, you might go sabotage yourself on the path, so you don’t succeed.
If you have low self-worth and you don’t believe you are worthy of accomplishing whatever you have set out to do, your subconscious will kick in and shut you down or send something, someone, or some circumstances that will give you the reason to QUIT!
If it’s outside circumstances, you can quit, and it wasn’t your fault. Someone, something else forced you to quit.
Your internal dialogue will sound something like:
“It’s taking too much time to do this, and I have to pay my bills. The logical choice is to focus on my lively hood. It was a ridiculous idea anyway. Let’s be real”
“Everyone is getting in my way and trying to sabotage me. I think the universe is trying to send me a sign that I shouldn’t be doing this.”
“I tried it and I just wasn’t good at it, so clearly it isn’t what I was meant to do.”
“If I try everyone is just going to reject me anyways, so what’s the point.”
“You know what this is just taking too long and there are too many obstacles, and I am not getting any traction so clearly it wasn’t meant to be.”
You might have enough Self-Love that you are even able to accomplish the thing you desired you might just go and sabotage yourself, so you lose it. If you believe yourself to be unworthy of keeping it, it’s only a matter of time before you find a way to destroy what you created.
Your internal dialogue might sound something like:
“It’s only a matter of him before he/she leaves me, and I have to protect myself. The longer I am in this, the more it’s going to hurt when he/she breaks my heart.”
“I’m just waiting for the other shoe to drop.”
“There has to be something wrong with him/her. No one is perfect. It’s only a matter of time before I see his/her true face and then it’s all downhill from there.”
“I’m successful now and the business is running like a dream. I know how this works. Someone is going to come along and screw me, or some natural disaster is going to happen, the next thing I know I am filing for bankruptcy and I’ve lost my business.”
“I lost 100lbs and I feel amazing, but everyone is hitting on me and it makes me really uncomfortable. I don’t like it when everyone notices and pays attention to me.”
Some excuse, disaster, person, circumstance is going to come your way and everything you created is destroyed. In many cases it’s something external so you can put the blame on someone or something else.
Self-Love will make or break your ability to start, succeed and keep everything you create
EVERY TIME!
If you want to avoid the pit falls that everyone hits when they are creating New Year’s Resolutions, shift your perspective!
Look inwards instead of focusing on improving the external.
When people make New Year’s Resolutions, they are always externally focused. Things that you know you will receive praise for when it’s accomplished.
The desire to create resolutions that are external is to receive praise which in turn will bring up your self-worth.
RIGHT?
RIGHT?
For some reason though all the praise for all of your accomplishments in the past hasn’t made you feel any better.
So why would this be any different?
IT ISN’T!
How about you try going about thing a different way.
Instead of making these resolutions:
“I AM GOING TO LOSE 30LBS”
‘I AM GOING TO MAKE $100,000 THIS YEAR”
“I AM GOING TO GET A BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND THIS YEAR”
“I AM GOING TO GET MY DREAM JOB THIS YEAR”
“I AM GOING TO GET MY DREAM CAR THIS YEAR”
Let’s focus on what is going to help you get and keep all those things on that list.
I am not telling you that wanting all those things is a bad thing. I want you to have all the things on your list and more.
You are a Beautiful Divine Being and you deserve ALL THE ABUNDANCE!
However, like I said if the internal well-being isn’t there, you won’t get or let yourself keep any of the things listed.
Avoid making the same mistake so many do when making NY resolutions by focusing on your internal well-being.
SELF-LOVE
There are two ways you can do that.
You can look at all aspects of your relationship with yourself and create goals to expand on it.
Here are the aspects of yourself that you might want to look at.
- Emotional
- Physical
- Food & Nutrition
- Health
- Spirituality
- Self-Love
You can grab a Journal and map this out for yourself using this as a guideline.
- Ask yourself: What is your current emotional. Physical, health state?
2. Congratulate yourself what you are doing already. It’s important to stop and look at what you are doing right and acknowledge it.
3. Create a Grand Scale Goal: How you would ultimately like things to be.
4.What are your next steps to help you create your Grand Scale Goal: It’s important to break it down or you might not even start because you might be feeling too overwhelmed.
If you would like a PDF, you can download please email me @ harmony@awakenedbody.ca and I will send it to you, so you want to walk through this process with an easy guide.
The second way to work on your Self-Love is using the power of Repetition. There are 3 ways to reprogram the mind.
- Trauma
- Authority
- Repetition
You can use repetition to effectively update your Mental Operating System.
I have created a beautiful 30 Journal that you can use that will do just that.
